2-Raising awareness about the scientific, environmental, and economic importance of the reserve and the necessity of preserving it for 1,200 individuals, including school and university students, local communities, and staff from relevant institutions. This was achieved through visits to the reserve as well as awareness and educational seminars.
Local communities have become more united in support of the reserve as an environmental model that must be preserved.
Provision of printed and visual media materials to promote the reserve, including the design and production of 2,000 brochures in both Arabic and English, highlighting the history and significance of the reserve.
The reserve now has a website on the global information network (Internet). The association established the website in partnership with EgyTrust Company, which designed and implemented it in collaboration with the reserve’s management. Two staff members from the reserve were trained to manage the website, provide data and information, document the reserve’s history, and report on activities and visits within the reserve. The website is continuously updated, and its management continues beyond the end of the project, contributing to the wider promotion of the reserve.
